About

I was born and raised on Long Island, NY, where I also studied art in college and recently returned after spending more than 20 years living and working as a full-time artist in the Caribbean. During my time there, I ran a ceramic studio, painting studio, and a manufacturing company in the Virgin Islands for over 16 years.

My art is heavily influenced by my connection to nature and the sea. The time I spent living by the ocean has left a permanent mark on my spirit, becoming part of who I am.

Currently, I’m focusing on large-scale abstract pieces using spray paint on canvas, incorporating tropical fauna, botanicals, and found objects like rope and fishing nets. As nature shifts through the seasons, so too does my art, evolving with the world around me.

”Our energy is in constant flow of giving and receiving with people and in our natural environments. This energy exchange is the dance of life.”

Artist Statement

My work reflects the rhythms and textures of my environment. I’m drawn to the organic simplicity of nature—whether the ebb and flow of the tides or foraged objects found along the shore and paths I walk along. I strive to capture the essence of these moments allowing viewers to connect with the emotions behind each piece and the natural world. As a multidisciplinary artist, I work across painting, ceramics, and photography, using these mediums to explore the beauty in imperfection and the serenity and infinite inspiration that nature offers.
