Gina Iannucci was born and raised in Long Island, NY where she graduated from art school in the 90’s. Over the last 28 years she has worked in visual art, display and design, owned a gallery, established an art studio and several manufacturing businesses and raised a wonderful creative son. She has lived in several countries around the world and on a Caribbean island. The experiences of travel, being immersed in different cultures and navigating life in new places has shaped her curiosity and passion for life and her art.
She moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2025 to begin a new chapter, continuing her spiritual journey in life and creating in a new environment with new inspiration. Her adobe home is surrounded and visited by wildlife from coyotes to deer, wild bunnies, javelinas, snakes, bobcats, and amazing birds and saguaro cactuses dot her land.

Artist Statement

I am a painter, ceramicist and maker based in Arizona, creating from my adobe home studio in the Tucson Mountains.
I practice the art of slow-living, creating intentionally and drawing from my personal experiences. For me, art emerges from the organic and grounding connection to the natural world. I am drawn to the rugged landscape, the sunsets that melt into the ridges at dusk and the tactile earth beneath my feet. I am inspired by simple forms and silhouettes.
As a multidisciplinary artist, I have an unrestricted and versatile approach to my art. I embrace realistic, abstract and expressive styles, exploring figurative and still life subjects, implementing found objects and foraged botanicals in my paintings. I work in many mediums from acrylic, oils and spray paint. I paint beauty in all forms and have a deep curiosity about how the world translates onto my canvas and in the materials I use.
My home has always been my sanctuary and I spend a lot of time there. I love creating my story with unique objects and paintings on the walls and in the spaces that surround me.
When art is rooted in soul and earth moving beyond decoration it becomes an emotional and intimate space you love. This is what I wish to create through my art. Creating the bridge between the natural and the intimate. Each piece is not meant for me but for the greater collective, encouraging the viewer to engage with their own emotions and connection to the world to the beauty that exists even in the simplest moment and form. I invite people to slow down and truly look—not just at the piece, but at the "simplest moments" in their own lives.
